Riding Since: 2008
Bike: Triumph Thruxton R
I started riding scooters as a kid and would leap at any chance to drive anything with an engine. In my youth I focused on cars more, but then one day, having finally arrived at work after watching bike after bike filter past me in my stationary car, i picked up the phone and booked my direct access course without a whole lot of thought. That was ten years ago and I never looked back!
Dan, Graham and I, have been close friends for very a long time. We have a very similar, twisted sense of humour and a love of tinkering with projects in the garage. It was over one such evening of tinkering and a few beers that The Angelman Rally was born.
Following Henri’s diagnosis, these boys really helped me through a very difficult time. I am truly blessed to have such good friends and I am honoured to have them join me on the ride - actually, I had no choice! They both said they were coming and that was that!
Henri is the inspiration behind the rally though, and it’s for him that so many friends have contributed to making this a reality. I owe a huge thank you to Dan and Graham, but also to every other friend who has helped us.
My son is my world. Corinne and I fought hard and made big sacrifices to have him complete us, and I could not ask for a more beautiful little boy or be prouder of him as I watch him develop and grow. I hope the rally will make him just as proud of me.
